It’s been too long since the last post, but despite the recession, business is booming here at AdzZoo and we are flat out busy! Are we lucky or have we and many other business been tapping into a secret known as long as business itself? The answer is, yes – we have been tapping into a secret that is not so secret. So have many others. The thing is, it’s just good business practice but you would think it was a secret based upon how many people do not do it.  It’s even better when you are in a recession like we are currently in.

This secret is quite simply – advertise and invest. Actually I shouldn’t separate those words for this blog because they are one and the same thing. Our clients are investing in advertising on the internet not becasue that’s the  smart place to be, but because they know the time is right to reach out. They can gain new business now and be in a better position as the economy grows out of the biggest recession since the great depression. Some people are making their return on investment now, while some are investing for success later. Both will win.

However, we must remember. Despite who is making money now, the point of investing when the chips are down is not for growth now (but I’ll take it) …it is to secure future growth. Get your name out there and dominate while the field is smaller. Continue to dominate when the field starts to grow. Why would you want to compete from the bottom if you could have a low cost head start?

I once heard that more new millionaires were formed just after the Great Depression than in anytime in history. Why is that? They invested what they could to grow when others are retreating. When business laid them off, they started working for themselves! The great Warren Buffet once said, “Be fearful when others are greedy and be be greedy when others are fearful. ” This applies to any type of investment… Internet advertising is an investment.

Reap the rewards!
